仮想通貨の良い点
”仮想通貨” と呼ばれているものの代表としてビットコインがありますが、それはCryptcurrency(電子通貨)の一つの種類なんです。
なぜこのCryptcurrency(電子通貨)が注目を集めているかというと、銀行口座がいらなくなる、というのがあります。
普段何かをカードで購入するときには、銀行が自動でカードの信ぴょう性や金額の記録を行っているため、”カード払いのお金が販売者側に届かない” だとか、"誰かが自分の口座を勝手に使う"といったことを防ぐ役目を銀行が担っているんですね。
銀行という機能のもとでカードによる売買をしていたり、はてなブログや Google などのプラットフォームのもとでブログという自身の持ち物を使っているわけです。
仮想通貨の誕生
そんななか、2008年に "Satoshi Nakamoto" と名乗る匿名の人が、銀行を介さずに信ぴょう性や金額の記録を行うことができる方法をインターネット上に投稿したんです。この仕組みが Blockchain(ブロックチェーン)と呼ばれるもので、”プラットフォームを必要とせずに各自の各売買の記録をその瞬間瞬間で記録していく”というものなんです。多くのエネルギーを必要とするのですが、コンピューター上の一つ一つのブロックが一つ一つのデータを管理することで、個人個人がプラットフォームなしで情報を守ったまま繋がれる仕組みなんです。
この仕組みは誰でも利用できることから、銀行口座を持っていない人たちや、そういった設備が整っていない貧しい国での活用が見込めるわけです。
仮想通貨の悪い点
もちろん悪い面もあって、管理者であるプラットフォームがないため、違法なものの売買が個人の間で行われても、それを取り締まりにくいなどという問題もあるんですね。

Bitcoin is the first and one of the many cryptocurrencies today.
When people buy something via a card, your bank processes the money transaction each time you use your card as well as the bank ensures your credibility and records the transaction. This system with a centralized platform has prevented someone from stealing your bank account or any problems in the transaction.
In 2008, however, an anonymous programmer "Satoshi Nakamoto" posted a possible solution that allows a new system to track the money transaction without a centralized platform, like banks.
This system is used Blockchain, which everyone records each transaction individually instead of bank recording all the transaction,
This connects people directly via a decentralized computer system without the owner, and thus cryptocurrency does not involve bank in the money transaction, so people do not have to have a bank account, which is good for people in a developing environment that does not have a good bank system.
The internet has been decentralized in theory, but actually centralized by big companies like Google. Since Blockchain is an independent network without the centralized owner, there is a difficulty to manage illegal trade between people.
